Warehouse container container
If the warehouse does not have the ability of manual forced humidity regulation, and locates in a low-lying area or in a geographical environment with high temperatures and heavy rain throughout the year, it will pose a significant risk of moisture damage to the goods stored inside. In overseas transportation, containers have to endure long periods of high temperatures and sea level humidity, which can cause water vapor to enter the container and then condense on the top of the container, forming "container rain," which can directly cause goods inside to be submerged in water, leading to rust and oxidation of metals, softening and collapse of cardboard boxes, and mold on wooden boxes.
The following are some of the challenges that the warehouse and container industry often face:
One way to control dew point is to place desiccants in the warehouse or container to absorb moisture from the air and reduce container humidity, thereby preventing the phenomenon of container rain and sweating. Container-specific desiccants have a much higher moisture absorption and anti-moisture capacity than other desiccants, and have stronger adsorption capacity as humidity increases.
