Electronic appliances have many precise circuit control boards and components, and metal parts may cause oxidation and rust due to high humidity, which directly affects the normal use of electronic products. For exported electronic products, long-term sea transportation and drastic fluctuations in temperature and humidity can also cause damp, mold, deformation and damage to the product's outer packaging, affecting sales. Moisture in machine tools and electrical equipment can greatly reduce their service life, causing leakage and short circuits, resulting in serious electrical failures or accidents.


Some common challenges faced by the electronics and machinery industry include:

For small electronic products, high-absorbent calcium desiccant or composite desiccant can be used due to limited packaging space. For larger electronic appliances, larger-scale silica gel desiccant, mineral desiccant, or composite desiccant can be used. For exported electronic appliances, container desiccant can be suspended in the transportation container. For electrified and enclosed electrical equipment that cannot install humidity control devices, desiccant can be placed as well. Machine equipment is generally kept at RH 40-60% or below, which can significantly reduce the rust rate, using silica gel or montmorillonite desiccant. Placing humidity indicator cards can also directly understand the humidity value inside the packaging.
